We do that by operating and maintaining a diverse fleet of over 240,000 vehicles across a thousand locations around the country. As a service bay garage door rises, we see Paul Rosa entering the bay. He circles around a truck to inspect it. The video continues with Paul and a service technician viewing the engine, as the technician uses an extractor to check the engine oil.

Paul: We are constantly evaluating to see how the vehicles are performing with the oil that’s in it. With as many vehicles as you have running and with how many miles those vehicles run, and in different climates they run in, and the different applications they run in, having sound motor oil is one of the most important things we can have. We need to understand how the CK-4 is going to perform over a six-, seven-, eight-year period as our vehicles run. We are very excited to work with Shell over the last several years to develop the latest technology of heavy-duty oils in the CK-4 product.

Lab technicians appear to be examining the oil that has been extracted from the engine.

Paul: And we’re equally excited to work on the next generation of oils.

We see Paul walking and then in a discussion with a Shell Rotella representative in the service bay. A technician checks oil levels in the engine. Again, we see the lab where engine parts and oils are being tested by lab technicians. The video cuts to the service technician reaching for a bottle of Shell Rotella T4 and then pouring the contents into a funnel in the engine.

Paul: Our relationship with Shell I would consider one of the best that we could have with a supplier. Because they’re good listeners. They understand what the industry needs. They’re looking to improve the products that they have. They want to make the Rotella brand and the Rotella products the best they can possibly be. And they understand the amount of testing that goes on—it is not just build something and put it out there. And that’s what Shell does a great job with. They find ways to make the product better.
