Shell Rotella^® MV 5W-30 full synthetic heavy duty engine oil is formulated to perform well in gasoline engines, without sacrificing protection in diesels. Blended with lower levels of phosphorous compared to most diesel engine oils, Shell Rotella^® MV 5W-30 is able to meet both API CK-4 and SN performance standards.

With its wide range of specifications and approvals from many of the world's leading engine makers, it is ideal for on or off-road applications. SAE 5W-30 oils are suitable in Volvo, Mack, Mercedes-Benz, Detroit Diesel and PACCAR heavy duty engines, and medium duty diesel manufacturers such as Ford and Dodge with Cummins engines. Most gasoline truck and car manufacturers also allow for a 5W-30 oil meeting API SN performance standards.
