The recalled product does not currently meet regulated Canada Consumer Product Safety Act labelling requirements, and an identified discrepancy in packaging integrity has led to our decision to conduct a voluntary recall for this product and SKU only. Shell Rotella® ELC Nitrite Free coolants are a high quality, extended life, nitrite free antifreeze/coolant (AFC) designed to meet the latest trend in commercial and diesel engines away from nitrited AFC. Nitrite free AFC improves protection of aluminum heat exchangers (radiators and heater cores). Shell Rotella® ELC NF AFC is colored red to match many ELCs in the market today and based on the proven Shell Rotella® ELC AFC technology.

Shell Rotella® ELC Phosphate-Free is a premium heavy-duty coolant with key uses for diesel engines. Works with other Organic Additive Technology (OAT) coolants.
